Hello to Everyone, I hope you are all surviving the cold and snow. I wish I could be out there making snowmen! ...Ok for the topic at hand.....I am finally listening to my docs and having knee surgery next week. (Its been a 12 year conversation) My return date is a moving target (argument), therefore I have no official return date to post as yet. (but I am an overachiever with hopeful expectations.)..... As I can drive after six weeks, I assume I can sew then as well. I will post an update as soon as I have more information and a note from the Authorities. In the meantime, I wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge Thank You! to all our customers. Hem&Stitch was an unexpected micro business born out of requests. It has taken off and I can say it is a perfect fit for this retired business owner and I am having a blast with it. So thank you to everyone, I love the work that comes in! I am off for knee replacement and will be back as soon as the Authorities allow. Happy Winter to All and Remember that Spring will soon be here!

Playing with the Walking Foot machine, filling Potholder orders. It's a fun playful machine that walks where ever you move the fabric, no matter the thickness of the layers. I love my job.

I don't know if many of you winter over plants, this year I am giving it a go. And I am finding that plants that I thought were dead are resurrecting and one begonia is even taking off and about to bloom. It does the heart good.
