Hello All! I'm excited to announce that Bhakta Knitworks and Tailoring Studio is having a grand reopening as now two different pages, Fancy Bird Knitworks and Fancy Bird Corsets & Underpinnings. Separating the page into two is giving me the oppurtunity to curate a more cohesive catalog for the different types of textile work that I do. Expect a lot more uploads of work in progess, and catalogue items for sale. The pages will look a little sparse for now, but there will be much more to come as photos of work are added. As always everything that I offer is handmade and bespoke by me personally.

So 60 hours in and all the pieces for the scrap sweater are done. I'm not weaving them together until after I put the cardigan zipper in because sewing flat is just easier for a zipper.This took about 20 extra hours because of using scraps to make the stripes, but I feel good about using yarn that might have otherwise been thrown out or wasted. I'll put final pics once its all done.

Here it is. The cord corset. Made from black courderoy, mud flap girl camo and black satin ribbon. Busk and grommets are gold colored steel and nickel. All corsets are made completely bespoke and to fit.
