I LOVE to see pictures of the happy moments where my designs get to live… This happy moment just happened to be at the BEAUTIFUL wedding of Sheree Beddingfield ~ one of my favorite Salida locals who has supported my work since the very beginning 💕

This dress is one of those truly special ones and will always have a place in my heart - it’s the birth place of multiple marigold petal eco-printing and henna detailing techniques that you can see carried through into many other designs.

If you have any pics wearing my work in your own happy moments plz dont hesitate to send them my way (&be sure to let me know if I can post them!)

i’ve been having a good time taking my dye skills to diy materials while trying to keep my signature “weird” style.

i’ve done that by keeping or adding in color irregularities — giving a neat variegated effect to each unique dye lot

i wanted to address this comment directly in order to make some clarifications about the mission&values of imprint-collective

1. on style — my artistic practice is to highlight beauty in the natural world. every garment is one of a kind, made by hand, and directly guided by the materials i forage in nature.

2. on pricing — this project is an intentional protest against fast fashion, which keeps people in poverty across the world. when i first started this project, i too was shocked to discover the invisible labor that goes into making our everyday items 🫥 . the prices come from the materials (of which i find the best, sustainably sourced, cruelty-free cottons, linens and silks) + the time spent creating.

1. on homelessness — in solidarity to people experiencing homelessness, i’ll be donating the entire amount of this shirt to those fighting to end homelessness in my town. let’s please remember that people without homes are deserving of dignity and respect and any one of us could fall into misfortune at any time.
