Ride or Die!

The Del’s Frozen Lemonade man came to our campsite! It’s a Rhode Island tradition. Tastes like memories.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Amish country. We started the day with a hands-on Amish farm experience. It was fun and all the baby animals were off-the-charts adorable. After the farm we headed to Deinner’s for a traditional (and excellent) Amish-style buffet. Then we spent some time exploring Pennsylvania Dutch country, with a stop off in In*******se, before heading back to the RV.

🍫 Our Day in Hershey, Pennsylvania!

Of course, when you’re in Hershey, you have to check out Hershey’s Chocolate World! 🍫 We skipped the amusement park and did the chocolate tour instead. It was cute, but we’ll admit, we were a little disappointed to discover it wasn’t actually a tour of the real factory. 😂

But the best part of the day came when we got away from the touristy stuff!

We found a local French crêperie for lunch and it was fantastic. 🇫🇷 Fresh French press coffee, savory crêpes, chicken and Swiss with caramelized onions for me and roast beef for Greg and then we shared a dessert crêpe filled with melted Belgian chocolate and raspberries. 🤤 Watching the chef make everything fresh right in front of us made it even better.

We also stopped at Country View Grocery, which was right up our alley. We’ve been trying to be much more conscious about where our meat and produce come from, so finding a place with locally grown and sourced food was a huge win. 🥩🥬

Hershey may be famous for chocolate, but once again, some of our favorite travel experiences ended up being the places we found away from the main attractions. ❤️
