As many of my friends and Clients know, August 2024, we had a devastating loss in our family.

My husband’s service dog, Reiki, passed away suddenly from a mass in his abdomen.

We soon lost my 18 year old kitty that I have had since we were first married.

After many sleepless nights and lots of heartache, we have decided it was time to add to our family.

Everyone, meet Kilo! He will be with me here as I am training him to be next in line to be a service dog for Seizure alert, PTSD, and to help when I am unavailable.

Our hearts grew a little bigger knowing he has the same mannerisms as Reiki did. ❤️❤️❤️

A few days ago, I came across a reel where .ed.studio and fell in love with the idea of how simple it could be to make a Quilty Coat/sweater.

Just watching her Reel, I was able to follow along and make this in two days!

My little one’s teacher is pregnant with her first baby! I knew I wanted line The Very Hungry Caterpillar but I had no idea how hard it would be to track down all of the fabric!

I am so thankful for Etsy and Small quilt shops that post their fabrics online because it took me ordering from two shops, one in California 3000 miles away,( and from Massachusetts 🥰!

I am so grateful to have been able to gift such a wonderful teacher this amazing little quilt.

Now, we wait for her little human to come so she can experience the Joy of motherhood and baby snuggles!

Today was Career day at my littles elementary school. I was lucky enough to be able to share my passion for quilting with all of the kiddos!

Who knew I could explain quilting/Longarming in 5 minutes to 20 kids at a time for 3 hours straight? 😆 Definitely not me!

Cheers to the amazing Helen at for the wonderful Reaching quilt pattern. The kids loved seeing the mermaid from across the room. 🥰

I want to shout from the rooftops a huge THANK YOU to Doug Shambley for everything you accomplished yesterday with Tricky Ricky Ride.

My dear friend Nicki Crews and I were able to collectively raise $2500 with the two quilts we donated for the Sam’s Wish Fund.

What an amazing gift to be able to give to these amazing children and their families. To help provide an opportunity for their last wish, is absolutely heartwarming to be a part of.

This post is a super rewarding post for me. This quilt here, which helped me receive one of my first Honorable Mentions at the Durham-Orange Quilters Guild show in 2024, is being donated to Tricky Ricky Ride Raffle.

I am absolutely honored to help with such an honorable cause. I hope the person who receives this quilt knows how special this quilt is and the joy it brought me making it.

This was the first quilt I was able to play with my free motion skills and use my rulers on my Longarm. The entire quilt is hand-guided,aside from the eyes.

With over 120 hours of work put into this beautiful piece of art, it will soon have it’s new home.

Last week I helped out The Heart of the Triad Quilt Guild, Inc. by Longarming two quilts that were made for the Quilts of Valor Foundation.

These quilts will be given to Veterans here in the area after they have been completed as a token of gratitude and appreciation for their service.

To be able to be a part of something so special makes all of the time I spend learning this wonderful skill that much more meaningful.

A fun Tula Pink quilt with a lantern E2E. What a fun pattern to stitch out!

I will be resetting my Longarm table by raising it a few inches so I can start doing custom work again.

Edge to edge is currently 1.5 cents per square inch for select designs. I am hoping to have my website up and running with pricing and designs by category soon.
