Join our dynamic team as a Retail Sales Associate ( aka Fairy Godmother), where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive success! In this vibrant role, you will be the friendly face that helps customers select the perfect dress, crown, bouquet, and other sparkling accessories for their once in a lifetime event. This paid position offers a unique and fantastic opportunity to as it is only for Saturdays, so it can be easily combined with school or a full time job. Hourly wage is offered plus commission.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance
Light cleaning ( Vacuuming and wiping down surfaces)
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves efficiently to enhance store presentation
Assisting clients in dressing in and out of heavy ballgowns
Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions about products or services
Contribute to our social media pages by occasionally being in videos or helping set up for filming during photoshoots
Experience
Prior experience in retail sales is highly desirable
Knowledge of Quinceaneras or fashion is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish is required
This position requires someone who can confidently approach clients and guide them from start to finish. We are looking for someone very outgoing and not shy. The gowns can be on the heavier side and you will be on your feet most of the day. This can be a very physically active position.
