I’m Holly Smith, the owner of Stella Marie Studio. This shop is named for my beautiful grandmothers, Stella and Gladys Marie. When I started this little side business, I was a new mom looking for a creative outlet. I needed to see past the diapers and bottles and late nights. I started with wreaths, then I added signs, then I figured out leather earrings, then I added handmade jewelry, and then I added quality items from suppliers…all in ten years. In 10 years, I’ve worked to always improve and evolve, and I’m super proud of what Stella Marie has become.

I haven’t worked on bracelets in a while.

I wear a lot of hats in life — not complaining — so my beadwork has had to take a backseat. I’m always adding new items to the shop, but bracelets haven’t been a top priority lately.

BUT I found some of the most beautiful beads and had to get busy! On a week like this, it was therapeutic, cathartic, and just plain fun. And aren’t they pretty!? These are some of my favorite bracelets to make. Beautiful beads with a simple, sparkly cross. Reminds you of who’s in control.
