Feminism is an ACTION! Respectful, Brave, Heard.

Feminism is about ALL genders having equal rights and opportunities, equal pay, equal respect. It's about understanding and respecting diverse women's experiences, identities, and striving to EMPOWER all women to realize their full rights.

Feminism is not limited to women; anyone who believes in the equal rights and opportunities of all sexes and genders can be a feminist.

I stand behind my message after all these years,, ever since I was able to put this message out on the runway. I still feel the power behind empowering others, especially women in all fields and industries.
The example I use for this message personally helping me, is when I am out traveling solo and I run into a mishap or obstacle. I tell myself, I wouldn't have gotten this far had I not had strong women before me. So I must keep going. I need to see all the things, do all the things many women before me were not able to do. That is what gives me the most POWER. 💥

Saturday, March 8

Thank you all for the support and everyone's involvement!!
It was a beautiful day, with beautiful people, and a beautiful day to take back our streets ❤️

I was able to stop for a few shots along the route as a Peacekeeper on my bike 🚲

and thankful for my mom as table support while I marched. Many of y'all may have met her Saturday 😁 as she helped me set up and take down. Grateful 🙏🏽 for her 🙌🏽

I have been doing the Women's March for a few years now to empower women and create community. I am involved in a few other communities such as cycling, arts, SA small business, networking, and Geekdom.

I believe that women have the opportunity to push for change! And we need to be HEARD, and we need to LISTEN, and we need to SUPPORT other women. Through this, our community is built, and we need community more now than ever.

My mission is to empower women through the arts, cycling, networking, and creatively, I am able to do this through Metallic Beat. Your support this past Saturday was amazing, and I appreciate everyone who stopped by and all the people I met at the Women's Day March.

In this, I hope that we can carry the energy we created together to fight for our future, together 🙌🏽

Designed with love for my city 💕
As San Antonio grows into the Gem we all know and love, I wanted to offer my point of view I tell anyone visiting. It's got all the qualities of a small city, relaxed, comfortable, and friendly, making it the Real heart of Texas!

Just yesterday in conversation, someone that has been to Dallas, Houston, Austin said to me that when they think of Texas, San Antonio is what they imagine it to look and feel like. 🥺 It was their first time in San Antonio and they were having a blast.

From our amazing food, our amazing family owned taquerias, sights and sounds (Tejano, Conjunto, and Mariachi) we've got it all. Being grateful to be born and raised with so much culture is something I not only owe to my wonderful mother, family and friends, but to the city too.

So here's a little piece, I share with the world.. The Real heart of Texas ❤️

BACK STORY: This is the newest version of my Viva la Feminista tee. I have a few originals at pop ups, or you can DM me for sizes (I have a post of the earlier version I can send you)

Initially made for a 70s inspired fashion show, where I showcase the punk side of the 70s. My tees danced alongside David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" as a sign of activism for women and empowerment.
I have pics from that show in my Instagram timeline and on Facebook. It was one of my favorite shows to date!!
