What an honor and a privilege it was to donate 100 Ouchy Wraps to Child Life Department. This amazing team provides exceptional services and compassionate care to children when they are sick or hurting. Given that we both have missions to calm and comfort children throughout their healing, I thought we would make a great team. We do!

Take a deep breath to realize that it's ok to feel like you might have gotten bogged down in a "mud and muck moment" of our seemingly non-stop lives, and to recognize that it's also ok to slow down and to calm down and to wash that mud off.🧘

(Yes, I am speaking to myself here).

I know I could use a fresh start. Regularly. Repeatedly. Every time I stop just long enough to realize that I messed up and I really need a "do-over."

You know, a second chance, a "Try again," a "Would you please forgive me and let me start over?"

Let's challenge ourselves to slow down long enough to appreciate the beauty around us, even in the middle of our messes.

And, we can let ourselves take time to get clean again.

I don't just mean physically (although that's nice too), but also mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually with ourselves and with our families .

Hello! I’m Dr. Amie Lapp Payne (Ph.D.), Founder of Ouchy Wrap.

I am so glad you are here!

As the president of Child & Family Solutions Consulting, my job was to help keep children safe. Through my research in human development and family studies, I learned that real healing involves so much more than basic first aid. Children, like all human beings, need to feel safe, comforted and loved.

As a mom , I noticed that there was a need for a better way to help our children heal from bumps, bruises, and other ‘ouchies’. So, I developed Ouchy Wrap to help every child feel better fast—especially when they are overwhelmed and hurting.

Ouchy wrap is made for all children, especially those with heightened sensory sensitivities, ADHD, and/or Autism. It’s super soft, wearable and machine-washable comfort that reduces fevers, pain, headaches, swelling and sensory overload.

I am overwhelmed with the positive impact Ouchy Wrap has made on so many lives and I am so grateful to help provide comfort when kids need it most.
