On November 15 and 16, 2024, San Antonio, Texas, became the epicenter of a unique event that merged two seemingly distinct worlds—fashion and tourism. Under the direction and production of Maximiliano Musas, CEO of Musas Runway International, and with modeling coordination by Savanna Harsh and event coordination by Carlos Rodríguez, the Suitcase Fashion Experience debuted as an innovative platform aimed at promoting both the fashion and tourism industries, offering an unprecedented experience that connects these two sectors in an entirely new way.
An Event That Inspires
The core idea behind the Suitcase Fashion Experience is to highlight the connection between travel and fashion. In a world where tourism is not just about exploring new destinations, but about immersing oneself in local cultures, lifestyles, and global trends, this event proposed an approach that went beyond the traditional runway. For two days, San Antonio witnessed international fashion shows where renowned designers from across the globe presented collections inspired not only by trends but by tourist destinations and the cultural diversity they bring with them.
The first day of the event took place at Neiman Marcus at Shops La Cantera, while the second day was hosted at BMW of San Antonio, the largest showroom of the brand in the United States. Both venues provided the perfect backdrop for a fusion of luxury fashion and the sophistication of local tourism and culture.
First day was hosted by Molly Molina General Manager of Neiman Marcus San Antonio, with the amazing Neiman team, stylist, managers, brand experience experts and customer services representatives.
