I want to show off one of my favorite pieces in my booth. 🥰

A 1920s Sleigh Furniture side board. I gave it a fresh look with our Dixie Belle Silk paint in the color Smoky Mountain. For the details I used our bronze and gold gilding wax.

I think it turned out stunning with its fresh look.

Have you missed me? 🧐 Sorry I have been a bit distracted planning my wedding! 💕💕😁

We were married April 10 and I'm still trying to get back in the groove of life. Today is my first day back at the shop in a few weeks so Ive spent the rainy day cleaning, reorganizing, doing paint inventory and a lot more.

Just another day at the office ☺️

I've had this antique 1920s Sleigh Furniture side board for awhile languishing in the shop in its natural aged state.

I decided to give it a fresh makeover today and I absolutely love it. 😍

I used Dixie Belle's "Silk all in one paint" in the color Smoky Mountains and played up all the pretty details with a mixture of our gold and bronze gilding waxes.

Don't all of the details just stand out now?

I didn't stage it as the paint is still curing, I was just in a hurry to show off it's pretty transformation ☺️

Check out this amazing 1906 Boye Needle Company tin I scored recently 😍

The tin still has Needle cases inside with the needles! You move the metal arrow to type of Needle needed, then open little metal door to select needles.

Such a very cool antique piece for your favorite sewing person.
