This is how we feel about Benji. He's still with us after all this time.

This tender illustration captures something many of us quietly do long after our dogs have gone. We still talk to them in the car, on walks, when the sunset glows just right. We share our worries and our little victories, because their presence shaped us so deeply that it never truly fades.

Grief does not mean forgetting, it means learning to live with the empty space they leave behind. Yet in that space, memories sit beside us like an old friend, bringing warmth to the ache. The love they gave still guides our choices, softens our temper, and reminds us to be gentle with others.

Somewhere in that mysterious place where love resides, it feels like they hear us. Maybe not in the way we imagine, but in the way our hearts heal each time we remember them with gratitude instead of only pain 🌅🐾
