Hosted my beginner sewing class today and my heart is SO FULL! 🥹🧵✨

There’s something so special about getting people behind a sewing machine, teaching them the basics, and watching that little “WAIT…I MADE THIS?!” moment happen. 💕✂️

I truly want to teach everyone in the world to sew… but we’re starting right here, one class at a time! 🪡🌈

After all the sewing, upcycling, late nights, second guessing, and MANY “is this even going to work?!” moments… WE MADE IT TO DROP-OFF DAY! 🥹🧵🏆

My humble entries for the Texas State Fair this year. 🤍 Only three entries, but every stitch, ribbon, and detail was made with my whole heart. I'm feeling really good about them, and I can't wait to see how they do!

Do y'all think I have a shot at bringing home a ribbon this year? 🏅✨
Either way, I'm so proud of how far I've come and grateful to be able to share this journey with you all. Wish me luck! 🍀🎀

I'm just about finished with my upcycled award ribbon dress, and I have to admit... I'm feeling pretty proud of how it's turned out. 💙✨

This project has been months of thrifted finds, recycled materials, late nights, and a whole lot of hope. This Saturday it's headed to Dallas for State Fair drop-offs, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a blue ribbon! 🤞🏅

Wish me luck! No matter what happens, I'm so grateful I got to bring this idea to life. ❤️

Part 4: One ribbon at a time! 🎀✨

This dress is slowly coming to life, and every new ribbon gets me one step closer to my goal: earning a blue ribbon at the Texas State Fair with a piece made entirely from thrifted, donated, and upcycled materials. 💙

No matter how it turns out, this project has already reminded me that creating something completely your own is worth celebrating. Thanks for following along on this wild, colorful journey! 🌈
