Sneak peek!! 💚 Piece one of ??? For the new purse/pouch lineup 💚

This particular bag has been a long three week project… It has taught me a few lessons, like “pay attention to which needle is coming down and don’t assume you can stick your finger in there” 🤦‍♀️ and “don’t forget to change your needle” 😝

I’m also back to the drawing board on how to add the exterior slip pocket, this was flop #3 for testing. None have been total losses though, I have an idea to make flop #2 work and am waiting on the hardware for testing 🤓

Thank you all for understanding my fairly sporadic posting/sharing 🥰 Working in healthcare has been a challenge for the last couple years, and the last several months have been particularly stressful. I hope that wherever you are you are happy, healthy and safe. And if you ever need to talk to someone I’m here 💚

How much have you missed traveling?? ✈️🌏

I got my first (adult) passport in 2018, took my first international trip in 2019 and planned my next for 2020. (probably) Needless to say that 2020 international vacation was cancelled due to circumstances outside of my control. I sit here on the cusp of getting my hopes up about future travel🤞I can’t wait to add more stamps to my passport and more memories to the vault ✨

💬 what places are on your travel bucket list?! Me? I want to visit London and Paris, I want to take the Chunnel and visit the Louver at sunset 😍

No matter where you end up don’t forget to give people space and grace to proceed back into the world in their time and as they see fit. Be kind. Don’t judge. Wash your hands. Wear a mask when you are sick (or don’t want to get sick). Be gentle, on yourself and others. And most of all HAVE FUN!!

We only have one lovely planet, and it is up to us to care for it!!

💬 Tell me some ways you are environmentally friendly! BONUS POINTS for easy eco-friendly swaps. I’ll go first: I bring utensils 🍴 with me to the parks, especially on festival days, so I don’t have to use single use plastic utensils. I also always have straws with me, metal and plastic depending on what I’m drinking, because I’m extra like that! 🤣

Also: Happy Birthday to Animal Kingdom! I can’t wait to see you next month 🐾

Trial and error was the name of the game today in the studio! 🧵

Question for you 💬 do you carry a purse? Are you a tote carrier or do you prefer a smaller clutch style bag? Please help me refine the size(ez) of pouches that will be coming to soon!

It has felt really good to get back behind my machines today! I had the opportunity to challeng my skills (and machine) today and have learned a couple new techniques 🥳

Hoping to have some pouches available in the next month or so. Unfortunately I won’t be using this material, it’s sooo pretty, but not going to be durable enough for this style of pouch (😭😭). It’s was a good tester though!

I am still working out a couple other patterns and ideas so stay tuned!
