Finally getting back into crochet now that my son is 10 months old. My friend had asked me to crochet her some horses a looooong time ago and I'm finally doing it. They are so cute!! I got the pattern from fantasticrochet.com. The first half was easy to follow, but the mane, tail, ears, and bridle were missing some direction, so I just had to figure it out. I'm also trying to design a cow using this pattern... So far he's looking goofy 😂

My friend asked me to make her a blanket. She told me I could have complete creative freedom (my favorite request). Sometimes inspiration pops up in the most common of places - the cobblestone on a back patio. I was also inspired by the changing colors of Fall here in the Midwest, so I call this blanket "Autumn Bricks." The off-white panels have a star pattern to emulate the upcoming snow. I have plans of writing up the pattern one day, but it keeps getting pushed to the back of the pile. Enjoy my compilation video of the creation of this blanket for my friend, Leandra.
