“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?”

Sometimes I wonder… why do we live like Heaven isn’t really our home?
He’s preparing a place for us. There is room for us in the Father’s house. So why do we spend so much of our lives trying to fit in here?
We only get one life to show people what Jesus looks like.
When people encounter us, do they see something different? Do they walk away thinking, “There’s something about that person… they must know God!” Or do they walk away wondering, “Who raised them?!”
We’re children of the Most High. We’re living on this earth, but this isn’t our forever home.
And honestly… this part makes me stop and think:
If Jesus came back today, would I be ready to go home?
Because one day, He will come back for His people. And when that day comes, I don’t want to realize I spent my whole life trying to feel at home in a place I was only passing through.
