Happy Pride y’all! Please be safe wherever you are. As a community, please step up and be even more vigilant when it comes to noticing your surroundings. We must look out for each other, in these strange times. We can’t be erased, history has shown that time and time again. Keep leading with your heart, love yourself so that you can share your love with the rest of the world. You belong here, you are seen, you are heard, you are cared for.

QxQ: this isn’t about banning drag queens or drag shows in fear of exposing children to lewd acts (don’t get me started, literally anything is a lewd act: tv commercials, tv shows, movies, people dancing in the park for fun, if you are an adult and you’re sexualizing that, then you are the problem, not the children, that’s not how they think). This is about eliminating freedom of expression and most importantly making being trans illegal. This is not about men dressed as women for entertainment, this is about humans who choose to be their true selves but may not look like the ‘current norm’ and people literally want them dead for it.
Give a good hard look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself “I love you, you are enough” and be an ally and standup to all of this nonsense.

There is more good going on in this world than bad. There are many, many people doing their best to be loving and supportive to their q***r family members and friends. While the news and social media make it seem like things are getting worse, they are not showing what is really happening in this world. It is getting better, everyday. Folks are opening their eyes and being brave to step into the uncomfortable. Give space to grow.
Let us keep rising up, let us keep being the example for everyone to see how resilient a community we are. How wildly supportive and protective we are of each other. Always stand for love.
