Happy New School Year!

As classrooms filled with excitement and campuses come alive again this week, I want to take a moment to thank the amazing schools, PTOs, booster clubs, teachers, administrators, and volunteers who trust Sand Dog Solutions with their promotional products, spirit wear, fundraising items, event materials, and recognition gifts.

It is an honor to support the people who support students every day.

It's our favorite season! ❤️

There are a few events each year that remind us why we love being part of this community.

📚 Little Free Library Anniversary Book Giveaway
Every May, we support this amazing event that brings together city leaders, law enforcement, firefighters, and families for a celebration of books, literacy, and community. Between the book giveaway, refreshments, bubbles, and music, it's always a fantastic day.

🎓 SMHS Graduation
As an SMHS family, graduation is one of our favorite community traditions. We provide the graduation beach balls to the school at a discounted price and absolutely love seeing our products in action as graduates celebrate this important milestone. Watching the excitement and school spirit fill the stadium never gets old.

🏕️ Camp Kesem – Chapman Chapter
We also sponsor the Counselor Snack Bar at Camp Kesem, a free summer camp and support program for children whose parent has cancer. Our family has been involved with Kesem for many years, making this partnership especially meaningful to us.

We're grateful to be part of a community that invests in its young people and supports families through every stage of life.

💚We align with Project Next in supporting local students. Check out this opportunity to support our youth entrepreneurs! 💚

We're excited to partner with Dianna Barbiani and The Rep Academy to provide a 5-day, hands-on entrepreneurship experience for all high school students and recent graduates!

💡 Over five action-packed sessions, students will explore:
~ Business model building using Lean Canvas
~ Design Thinking for real-world problem solving
~ The essentials of business licenses and permits
~ Pricing strategies and product/service value
~ Customer discovery, marketing basics, and more

We’re not just teaching. We’re igniting purpose, confidence, and possibility.
🗣️ We’ll also feature inspiring guest speakers, entrepreneurs with lived experience, so students see what's truly possible for their future.

This summer session is just the beginning. We envision a full-year series to dive deeper into each topic and continue mentoring students who want to create their own paths.
Let’s raise a generation that doesn’t just look for jobs, but creates them.

💙 We are thankful for the trust and support SMEA places in us as their spiritwear provider. On their behalf, we invite you to their joint fundraiser with the SM Fire Department 🚒 benefiting our local HS Future Centers and Firefighters Foundation. Entry for SMEA teachers and San Marcos Firefighters is free with a valid ID.

“Please join us for a night of music, friendship, and fun!  This unique collaboration between the San Marcos Firefighters and San Marcos Educators Association (SMEA) is hopefully one of many more to come.  Entry for SMEA teachers and San Marcos Firefighters is free with a valid ID.  Family, friends, and the general public are invited to attend with all proceeds for this event going towards the San Marcos Firefighters Foundation and the High School Future Centers.  We hope to pack the house, celebrate the end of the school year, and have some fun before another busy fire season!
