Mod Tots Unique specialities for your "Modern Tot"! My name is Alishia. I'm a SAHM to three beautiful children, with a love of sewing. I was inspired! Research began again.

Mod Tots began when I started cloth diapering my youngest and wanted to give cloth wipes a try. I began researching the best fabrics that could be found, and sewed until we had a nice large stash :) But it didn't stop there. I've always loved anything different, for example, looking at boutiques that carried unique, beautiful items (but things I couldn't afford) became a little obsession of mine ;

) Then it hit me...I CAN DO THIS! So many ideas went through my head, it kept me up at night. I wanted to make sure I used the finest, softest, and longest lasting fabrics possible and at prices that even a family with one working parent could afford. So check back often, because my creative journey has only just begun :-)

I know it has been FOREVER! But I (Mod Tots) is still around :-) I thought it was best to take some extended time away to take care of...well, life :) and it's still a work in progress Because if I could perfect life in a year I would write a book, lol. I do appreciate everyone who has stuck around (even if its just one of those "likes" you kinda just forgot about to delete, LOL) but I do have some fun stuff going on in my creative mess of thoughts and am looking forward to sharing them soon!

So... Has anyone starting decorating for Christmas and the holidays? I love it! and here in FL you have to REALLY decorate for it to feel like the Christmas season when you never get snow and its still in the 80's :( So needless to say I'm ITCHING to "winterize" (yes, I'm sure that's not a word ;) my home! and If you feel like getting even a lil crafty, this is a great link for a bit of inspiration, and many you can even do with the kids!
