Hi y’all! 👋🏼 It’s been a while! I can’t remember the last time I was at my sewing machine. But this morning baby girl and I did some chain piecing on our blocks 💛 What a feeling to have her sleeping in her as she listened to the hum of the machine. Hoping we have many more years of crafting together in this room. 🥹 Hard to believe she will be 4 weeks old on Thursday! 🙈

Now that this quilt has been gifted I can share on here. 💙 This year has been slow going with quilts, but so enjoyed working on this for an extra special couple! 🥰 Did simple straight line quilting and of course had to finish it off with hand stitched big stitch binding! 🪡

And just like that it’s the last week of the hosted by 🌸 This was my first ever and I LOVE IT! I incorporated some of the brightest, happiest fabrics I had into it and it just brings me so much joy! Hi y’all! Popping in to share another favorite sewn together during Week 5️⃣ of the 💖 Incorporated the new with the old in this block. The blue and red fabric second from the left is from an old feed sack. 😍 Love scrap quilts so much! Next week I’ll share all 30 blocks together. Now to figure out how to get a reel of that. 🙃 It will probably take me a week to get that sorted out.😆

Week 3️⃣ of the by and I can’t stop making these blocks! 🤩 So far I have 14 blocks sewn together and I’m just having so much fun! Really enjoying seeing the different versions all the quilt along participants are making! Anyone else want to join in on all the quilt alongs?? 🙋‍♀️
