Olivia Joffrey

Olivia Joffrey Olivia Joffrey Creative is a boutique copywriting and illustration agency based in Santa Barbara, California.

We help brands connect to their audience via potent prose and imagery. Olivia Joffrey is a California-inspired collection of refined cotton dresses and leisurewear for women. Our mission is to design elegant, seasonless clothes that delight the senses and simplify the art of dressing. We speak to a woman who values a polished look, but wants it with ease; she is a woman devoted to a life well-live

d in her choice of leisure pursuits from surfing to reading to entertaining. How she dresses is an extension of her vivaciousness, curiosity and joie de vivre. Olivia Joffrey was raised by two native New Yorkers in a California beach house full of books and records. Her eponymous collection is both a love letter to 1970s Santa Cruz, her bohemian hometown, and her mother -- a former stage actress whose expatriate years in mid-century Spain flavored her personal style. With the collection, Olivia seeks to share with women the liberation of a chic, effortless dress – one that inspires a life of more joy and passion pursuits and minimal time deliberating in one’s closet. Our Dresses are:

ELEGANT
Refined clothing that celebrate your inherent femininity, and the poetry of fabric moving with your body. SIMPLE
Our dresses are designed to make you feel chic whether barefoot or in satin heels. Liberation is a dress – no more separates to coordinate. VERSATILE
Our seasonless, fully-lined dresses are both casual and sophisticated. Go from beach to black tie in the bat of an eyelash. SENSUAL
Clothing designed to skim the body in an intoxicating, sensual way. Made of the finest lightweight cotton that breathes and caresses the skin. MADE-IN-CALIFORNIA QUALITY
Made in Los Angeles in boutique factories where attention to detail and craftsmanship are an obsession.

The walls reflect the generous community of historians, storytellers, businesses, and leaders who took time to share Montecito’s past with me. It won’t be up forever: make sure to pop in this summer.

Please DM for a list of works & prices. “Plants are People Too” at through end of May. Very large botanical illustrations with UNHINGED PROSE. Works on paper - all 22 x30” , float-mounted & framed in blonde wood.

Thank you to everyone who came to Santa Ynez to celebrate & sip wine. MFK Fisher is my spirit animal and I felt her with us in spirit, communing with prose and fabulous wine on a California spring day.

May 9th please join me at Artiste Winery | Gallery in Santa Ynez for the OPENING RECEPTION for Plants Are People Too — my first series of large format botanical works on paper with prose accompanied by three seasonal wines by Anna & Bion Rice of Artiste.

This collaboration started as a conversation. We wanted to celebrate California culture and landscape the way M.F.K. Fisher did. Through food. Through wine. Through attention. Come celebrate with us.

ITEMS LIKELY TO BE FOUND IN MIRANDA JULY’S LUSCIOUS CURLS. An illustration for ‘s latest Culture Issue in celebration of hosting for what will surely be a memorable talk on January 20th.

I love the phrase “she has tricks up her sleeve.” For this assignment, Miranda July’s gorgeous curly hair felt like an apropos (and joyfully absurd) place for her to hide her endless creative gifts — from novels to films to performance art.
