🌈 Nothing like a little positivity to brighten up a dreary Sunday🌈

✨𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗞 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱..✨
This year has been extra hard for so so many and I feel like quotes like this are a constant theme in the artwork I share to Northern and Noted.
However...this is because it has truly been the most difficult year of my life thus far and if I’m being honest, I find myself often looking towards the “what’s next?” rather than the present.

I know I am still incredibly blessed everyday to have the privilege to wake up, have access to water, shelter, clothing and food on top of all of the wonderful family and friends I have in my life..But it is 𝗦𝗢 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗬 to get lost in the chaos of what you think is “wrong” and to think of what we (think we) would prefer instead.

I have said many times this year that my biggest goals are to constantly evolve to be a better human AND to be more present in everyday moments. I have to remind myself not to worry so much about the future because if this past year has taught us anything, it is that everything is 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 changing whether we want it to or not.

🌞 We might as well focus on what we are lucky enough to have 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, rather than what we 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 we want tomorrow. 🌞

🙃 It has just been one of those 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗦 🙃

Coming back from the pandemic and being able to go out in the world again is so exciting but also 𝗦𝗢 𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 for me. 😴🥱

As someone who enjoys my alone time and has to choose wisely where I put my energy, transition from one “new normal” to another can be exhausting.

It is 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 important that we all take a little more time to put down our phones and get a little sun when we can!☀️

✨So here’s to putting your mental and physical health before all else and taking more time for yourself!✨

✨Along with hard work and dedication, I have really been trying to focus on my intentions lately.
As a small business owner (as well as a just being a plain old human being) I find that I have to constantly try to keep my intentions clear. It can be SO EASY to get down on yourself and compare your self to others, but it is SO important to try to stay as positive about yourself as you can. ✨
