Today, the King County Posse honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we hold dear each and every day.

As we ride beneath the American flag, we carry deep gratitude for those who served with courage, honor, and selflessness. May we never forget the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

From all of us at the King County Posse, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we remember America’s fallen heroes. 🇺🇸🐴

Bill Woodworth is a steward of his land, a devoted citizen to his community, and an absolute legend to his grandchildren.
Captain Bill Woodworth has proudly served as a Captain of the King County Posse since 2006, and his dedication is truly admirable. Bill takes tremendous pride in his land, making countless cuttings of hay year after year to ensure his horses — and even friends’ horses — are well fed through the winter months. His work ethic and generosity speak volumes.
Bill has been involved with 4-H for countless years, mentoring and encouraging youth along the way. He has a heart bigger than the ocean, and it shows in everything he does.
When Bill isn’t riding in the rodeo arena or out on a trail ride, you’ll find him cheering at one of his grandchildren’s sporting events or keeping a watchful eye on them. After retiring from CenturyLink following 37 dedicated years of service, Bill is now living the dream — being a cowboy, a farmer, and most importantly, a proud grandfather watching his grandchildren grow.
A man of character, commitment, and cowboy spirit — Captain Bill Woodworth truly wears many hats.
