♻️ No Waste Wednesday Tip #109 ♻️

Today’s NWW is a level up your lifestyle!! 🕹 Both are of equal value, just pick the one that works better for you, or better yet, DO BOTH! 🙌

1. Save plastic bags like grocery bags and ziplocks. If needed, wash with soap and water and hang to dry or flip inside out. In my house we have a drawer dedicated to plastic bags. We use them for so many things like lunches and dogdoo of course but also for organizing around the house and packing for trips. I use the bags to make outfit packs including un**es and jewelry so that when I’m on vacation I just have to pull out an outfit pack for the day and I don’t even have to think! They also make great produce bags when grocery shopping! Throw them in your reusable totes so you don’t have to remember! 🛒

2. Sew up or buy some simple muslin/cotton rectangle bags for buying produce. Stash them in your totes or purse/backpack for convenience. If you happen to pass buy a produce stand or market you already have a produce or even grocery bag with you! Bonus points if they have drawstrings! 🛍

No Waste Wednesday Tip #108 ♻️

Make sure your car’s tires pressure is up to manufacturers recommendation. Look on the driver’s side door jam to find the recommended PSI. Keep a air pressure gauge in your car and check it once in a while. Depending on how often you drive, if the weather has recently changed, and other factors can affect your tires pressure. Every other time you fill up the gas tank or once a month is a good rule to keep in mind. And don’t forget to get an oil change if you need one! Check that dipstick! ☝️

The first custom order to be released after reopening is going to be PANTIES!! 🩲I’m workin’ workin’ workin’ on improving my techniques to make sure I create the highest quality garments out of the reclaimed materials. I really love printed elastic so I found a way to make it work better than before, but I’m also working on other options. That’s the idea. That you’ll be able to custom order your panties how ever the heck you want. High or low waist? High cut or low cut leg holes? Elastic or bias tape edges?
