Wool is starting to arrive into the warehouses from the ranches. It is weighed, marked to begin traceability requirements, core tested to determine the characteristics of the wool which will determine its value, and stored in segregated areas of the warehouse.

We’re thrilled to share the launch of Graze—a new knitwear brand built around American wool and domestic craftsmanship. All pieces are from wool fully farmed, milled and knit in the U.S. Their debut collection features one of the most diverse offerings of Shaniko wool we’ve seen. The collection is a beautiful expression of the fiber.

Exciting news for Oregon folks! You have another opportunity to listen to Shaniko's Jeanne Carver discuss her journey with wool and Shaniko Wool Company at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum on Thursday, November 20th. Doors open at 5pm with the event starting at 6. You can view the incredible exhibit "A Sense of Place" and many of the wool products, as well as ask questions to Jeanne directly. Great opportunity to get updates on the Shaniko Wool story.
