Opening Metalbug Music Fest!!! May 2nd!!!
Heart Mercury
Formed in 2021 by frontman Bryce Bretherton, Heart Mercury set out to re-energize the Shreveport local metal scene. Drummer Bobbi Borden joined in 2023, helping to solidify their ideas and imagery. In 2024, Billy Bretherton (aka Billy the Exterminator, star of the reality TV show of the same name) joined as the bassist, contributing his experience and funding to its future. In 2025, Bobbi invited Kate Hearon to join as their guitarist, finally locking in their industrial/horror metal sound.
The four members are dedicated to bringing stadium-level energy and sound to local venues. 🤘😈🤘

Our first surprise celebrity guest for our Hop Into Easter Market is Billy the Exterminator!

Joining him is his family band Heart Mercury for a meet and greet alongside Snaketuary!

From a free live concert, hot food, celebrity guests and more, we are changing the vendor market game!

I mean who doesn’t want a picture with Billy holding one of Steve’s Snakes?! Come on now? Let’s GEAUX SHREVEPORT.
