To Our Incredible JB Community,
2025 has been many things — stretching, unexpected, humbling, and refining. And as we look back, two themes stand out: transformation and release. Much like the symbolism behind this year, it has been a season of letting go of what no longer serves us so that something healthier and more intentional can begin.
When we first stepped into this retail world more than 21 years ago, we had no idea where the road would lead. It has been an unbelievable journey — full of joy, growth, mistakes, lessons, and so many beautiful moments with all of you.
The boutique world has changed dramatically, and like so many others, we have experienced some very high highs and some very real lows.
Through it all, your encouragement, your patience, and this incredible community have allowed us to pivot and evolve more times than we can count.
Over the last few years, however, we found ourselves stretched too thin — professionally, emotionally, and personally. Health challenges, family needs, and the constant push to “keep up” forced us to pause and listen. Sometimes life speaks so clearly that you simply cannot ignore it.
We needed reflection. We needed restructuring. We needed to realign with purpose — both personally and professionally.
When we re-branded the business back in October 2024, what came along with that was new ownership of a new company. Although we were still the faces of Jenny B and very much involved, we were not the ones making decisions for the long haul. It was very different for us, but something that needed to happen. And we have really enjoyed the past year and what we have accomplished.
However, after thoughtful conversations, prayer, and a lot of honesty, we have both have taken a step back from the day-to-day operations of Jenny B. This has been a quiet and gradual transition, handled with care and intention.
But here is what matters most:
Jenny B is still here — and she is not going anywhere.
One of the biggest changes has been behind the scenes. Jenny B will no longer operate its own warehouse. Instead, we’ve partnered with an experienced fulfillment team whose sole job is to receive inventory pack with care and ship orders efficiently.
We will also be closing the Shrewsbury Retail store. This was not our decision, but one that came with much consideration. If you have an in-store gift card, it will be honored for any purchase made online. Our closing date of the store will be January 31.
All of this allows us to get back to our original “why”: thoughtfully, sourcing beautiful pieces while ensuring logistics are handled professionally.
So… what isn’t changing?
A LOT.
The app and website will relaunch on January 8 with fresh energy, renewed focus, and thoughtfully curated collections. You’ll notice an intentional rhythm — fewer frantic “drops,” more quality, more meaning, more pride in what we bring to you. We will be launching our Live schedule in mid-January.
We are still here, cheering, supporting, and believing in this community — just in a healthier and more sustainable way. We will continue to be part of the Jenny B team and will be the faces of the company.
Thank you for loving us through the messy middle. Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for allowing evolution — not endings.
A new chapter is beginning… and we’re so grateful you’re part of it.
With love and purpose,
Kristen & Jenn
