It's been so quiet here for the last 3 months. I wasn't going to post anything because thinking about what I've been through this year hurts my heart. However, many customers have messaged me on my page, asking when I'm going to open again, and I never replied to them. Back in July, the property manager told the police officer helping me with the investigation that someone left the door of my business open, and people went in and stole all of my merchandise and fixtures. I wasn't going to do anything about it anymore since the police officer tried to help me get a warrant arrest for him, and the judge denied the request. They told me I have to file for a civil claim, which involves paying a lawyer and is time-consuming. But today, after many days and months of being negative and heartbroken, I received an email from the Best of NWA saying that my store was nominated again this year, and I started crying, remembering all the effort, time, love, and passion I put into my dream. Someone decided to have the power to do what they wanted and just get away with it. I'll come back stronger than ever because it was my dream. Thank you to the people who nominated my business; you made me feel like I was doing something right and yes I'm crying while typing this post.ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
