💕 Galentine’s is for the friends — and it doesn’t have to be fancy. 💕

I’ve been loving the idea of a thrifted Galentine’s — getting your people together, setting a cozy table, and using what you can find secondhand or already have.

Think mismatched vintage plates, pressed glass bowls filled with treats, thrifted glassware, a few candles, fresh flowers, and lots of laughter around the table.

One fun twist?
Ask everyone to bring one small thing they love to share — thrifted, vintage, handmade, or already theirs. Kind of like a White Elephant, but Galentine’s style. Something with a story, something they’re happy to pass along.

It feels easy, thoughtful, and full of personality. No pressure, no matching themes — just good friends, shared stories, and a table that feels lived in and loved.

Those are the gatherings that stick with you. 💛

💕 Valentine’s Day reminder: you don’t need a date to treat yourself.

Valentine’s doesn’t have to mean roses from someone else or a last-minute box of candy. Sometimes it’s about finding something small that makes you smile.

Etsy and eBay are full of little self-love finds:
• vintage jewelry with a little sparkle ✨
• pressed glass or crystal pieces that make everyday routines feel special
• art that stops you in your tracks
• cozy home touches that feel like a hug

I love buying things I’ll actually use and enjoy — not just for a holiday, but long after it’s passed. Pieces with a little age, a little character, and a whole lot of heart.

This Valentine’s Day, consider this your permission slip to spoil yourself just a bit.
You deserve something pretty, meaningful, and just for you. 💛

🎯 Reseller Groundhog Day question… 🎯

If you had to relive the same thrift finds over and over again (Groundhog Day style 🐿️)… what would you hope to see every single time?

I’ll go first 👋
Mine is artwork — all day, every day.
OOAK pieces, lithographs, serigraphs, pencil drawings, acrylics… especially when they’re signed and tucked inside those beautiful vintage frames. That moment when you flip it over and see a signature? Never gets old.

Alright, your turn 👇
What’s the one thing you’d be happy to find again and again and again?

✨ Just a little heads up… ✨

Some really special pottery is headed to the Foxy in the South shop next week, and I’m kind of excited about it. 👀

Earthy tones, beautiful shapes, hand-painted details — the kind of pieces that feel collected, not mass-produced. Each one is a little different, a little soulful, and full of character.

These are perfect for shelves, tables, or anywhere you want something that feels warm and grounded. The kind of pottery that doesn’t need a purpose to earn its spot — it just belongs.

I’ll be sharing more soon, but if pottery is your thing…
👀 keep an eye out next week.

One thing nobody tells you about reselling… you start seeing everything differently.

Frames, bowls, lamps, random little things most people walk right past — my brain immediately goes, “Oh yeah… that could be something.”

Anyone else completely ruined for normal shopping forever? 😂

Another vintage rule I’m happily breaking (y’all might be too):

Crystal and pressed glass… in the bathroom.
Yep — for everyday use.

I’ve been seeing more folks swap out plastic organizers for vintage crystal, cut glass, and pressed glass bowls — using them for makeup, brushes, cotton rounds, perfume, jewelry… all the everyday things.

And honestly? It just makes good sense.

These pieces weren’t meant to sit in a cabinet waiting on “company” or a holiday. No more saving Grandma’s crystal like it’s too special to touch. If it’s made it through decades of life already, it can handle your mascara and lipsticks just fine. 😉

That mix of sparkle, a little patina, and real-life function feels so good. It instantly makes your bathroom feel warmer, more personal — more you — not like a big-box store display.

Vintage doesn’t have to be precious.
Sometimes the prettiest thing you can do is actually use it every day. 💛 And the best part? You can find these everywhere — thrifting, eBay, Etsy — and usually at really affordable prices if you keep your eyes open.

🍫🎂 Apparently TODAY is National Chocolate Cake Day… 🎂🍫
And listen — I refuse to ignore a holiday this important.

Chocolate cake is my FAVORITE. No debate. No contest. If it’s rich, a little messy, and makes you close your eyes on the first bite? That’s the one.

It also got me thinking… chocolate cake is kind of like vintage.
The good ones are timeless, never go out of style, and somehow just get better with age. 😉

So today I’ll be celebrating with:
• chocolate cake (obviously)
• a cozy plate that’s lived a little life
• and zero guilt about either one

Tell me — are you team chocolate cake, or do you have another favorite dessert you’d fight over? 👇

Fairy lamp alternative… and y’all, I might love it even more

Vintage fairy lamps are having a moment right now — and I get it. The soft glow, the cozy vibes, that old-world charm… yes please. But if you’ve actually tried to find one lately, you already know they’re getting harder to come by and whew 😅 not exactly cheap.

So here’s a fun little twist I’ve been seeing lately…

Vintage glass insulators. ✨

These old utility glass pieces are being used as fairy-lamp alternatives, and honestly? It works so dang good. Pop in a tiny battery tea light and that thick vintage glass gives off the prettiest warm glow. No wiring, no fuss — just instant cozy.

Clear, aqua, amber, ruby… styled on a bookshelf, windowsill, or side table — they feel collected, nostalgic, and perfectly imperfect. And the best part? No two are exactly alike, which makes them even more special.

Not a replacement — just a creative way to look at an old thing in a new way.
Sometimes the best decor ideas come from using what already exists. 💛

I see these milk glass vases all the time while thrifting. These are my bracelets and how I store them. 💙

I see so many nice frames while thrifting. Hooks on the bottom for necklaces. I'll 🔗 the slats in comments. 💚

Let’s talk jewelry for a minute 💍

One thing about Foxy — we’re definitely everything sellers, and jewelry has slowly become one of my favorite things to list.

Some pieces are fun and costume.
Some are vintage with a little age and character.
And every now and then, we come across something finer that makes you stop and say, oh my goodness…

What I love is that jewelry doesn’t have to be fancy to mean something. Sometimes it’s the sparkle, sometimes it’s the detail, and sometimes it’s just one of those pieces you put on and think, yep — this is me.

Y’all will always find a mix in the shop — everyday pieces, statement pieces, and the occasional surprise.

Just wanted to share a few that are currently available.
