Interviewed for the opportunity to be Miss Indiana - and I threw in a “67” unironically in there. I think my students have influenced me! 🤪

I cannot stress enough how amazing I felt before, during, and after my private interview with the panel of judges. It is the room where it happens, and even to be there is a blessing. All year as Miss South Bend, I have been living as I think a Miss Indiana should. Showing up for others, leading her community, and making a difference. I can proudly say I have shown up as the best version of Hannah, and that is a true victory. Thank you judges for an amazing conversation, laughs and all.

Backstage at Miss Indiana 🙈

I interview tomorrow for an opportunity that I have been preparing for half a decade at 8:12 am EST. If you feel so inclined, please pray (or send good vibes!) for peace, confidence, and energy. I cannot stress enough how much I could give to this organization that has given so much to me. ❤️

Good luck to our incredible H.E.A.R.T. Champion, Hannah Stombaugh, as she competes in the Miss Indiana Pageant! 👑❤️

Hannah has been a passionate advocate for sudden cardiac arrest awareness through her platform, , working to educate communities and raise support for CPR and AED training. Her dedication to helping others become prepared to save a life embodies the very mission of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.

We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart she has devoted to spreading this lifesaving message, and we couldn't be prouder to have her as part of the SCAF family.

Join us in wishing Hannah the very best as she takes the stage this week. We're cheering you on every step of the way!

❤️ It’s CPR & AED Awareness Week | June 1–7 ❤️

There is a belief that only medically trained professionals should perform CPR. The truth is, that misconception costs lives.

This CPR & AED Awareness Week, the American Heart Association is reminding everyone that the power to save a life is in your hands.

CPR isn't just a medical skill, it's a shared human responsibility. You need awareness, confidence, and the willingness to act when every second counts.

🏠 About 3 out of 4 cardiac arrests that occur outside of a hospital happen at home, meaning the life you save could be a spouse, parent, child, neighbor, coworker, or friend.

💪 For adults and teens, Hands-Only CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival.

Whether you're at home, at work, in the gym, or cheering from the sidelines at your child's soccer game, cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. That's why parents, caregivers, neighbors, coworkers, and friends are often the “first responders” before the first responders arrive.

This week, take a step toward being prepared:
✔ Find a CPR class near you at http://spr.ly/6189B8Yg3F
✔ Refresh your skills
✔ Share CPR resources with others
✔ Help build a community ready to act

Because heroism isn't reserved for uniforms, it's everyday people stepping up when someone needs them most.
