🧵❤️ Sometimes a favorite piece just deserves another chance.

This well-loved motorcycle jacket had definitely seen better days, but my customer wasn’t ready to let it go. So, I gave it a new lease on life with a completely new lining—and I have to say, that new lining makes quite a statement! 😍

The best part? Seeing his reaction when he picked it up and knowing he can continue wearing a jacket that means something to him. And he was kind enough to pose in his restored jacket before heading off on his next adventure! 🏍️

At Stitched by JB, I love finding ways to restore, repair and renew the pieces you’re not ready to give up.

As sewing and alteration skills continue to become less common, there is a growing need for skilled alteration specialists in our communities.

That’s why I’m doing my part. ❤️

Through UP Academy at Stitched by JB, I’m training individuals who want to develop the skills needed to provide professional clothing alterations - and helping keep this valuable, practical skill alive for the next generation.

And if you’re interested in sewing but not quite ready for alteration training, Sew Cool: Beyond the Basics is a great place to start! Beginners are welcome.
