I’m excited to be preparing trip to Mexico. This time we won’t be going to a touristy beach…we’ll be going to my suegros rancho and we’ll be celebrating my husbands grandmas 94th birthday!

So ofc i had to grab me a pair of boots!

I was gonna go with the typical brown or black until I saw the most beautiful shade of blue. And I must admit, they’re so comfortable too… I probably won’t even need to break them in!

I find it so interesting how our personalities show up so early in life.

Little me was already sitting pretty, posing, and romanticizing life from the rocking chair [viejita soul] - ofc at home because in public I’ve always been reserved.

Fast forward and somehow I’m still the same girl…just with smoother hair when i wake up early enough, red lipstick, and a calendar full of PTO requests ✈️✨

I take so much pride in this title, let me tell you why…

Seeing my parents immigrate to this beautiful country - leaving their families & friends behind, not knowing the language…but having the grit & drive to succeed & work SO hard as loncheros, at times night & day, in order to achieve the American Dream, allowed me to dream BIG as well!

As a business owner, you wear many hats and juggle numerous responsibilities, add a demanding 9-5 to that…I struggle more than I’d like to admit!

It’s something I work at everyday. And lucky for me, my bestie constantly reminds me to give myself grace!

I’m so thankful for my customers & community of other jefas who keep me going! Thank YOU!
