💛 Happy 3rd Birthday to our miracle boy, Tucker! 💛🎉🎂

Three years ago today, our lives changed forever when God blessed us with you. Little did we know just how much strength, courage, and faith one little boy would teach us.

Your first three years of life have been anything but ordinary. From fighting for your life the moment you were born, spending 133 days in the NICU, enduring countless procedures, dialysis, surgeries, and eventually receiving the greatest gift of all — a new kidney. You have faced more battles in three short years than most people face in a lifetime.

But look at you now. 🥹💛

You’re walking, talking, running around, playing with your monster trucks, and living the childhood we prayed so hard for you to have. Every milestone, every giggle, every little adventure is something we will never take for granted.

This birthday feels extra special because not only are we celebrating THREE amazing years of you, but we’re also celebrating your first birthday with your new kidney and a whole year of new beginnings. What a blessing it is to finally watch you just be a little boy. 💚

Tucker, you are living proof that miracles happen, prayers are powerful, and God is faithful. You have changed our lives in ways words could never explain. Being your mommy is one of the greatest honors of my life.

I pray this next year is filled with nothing but happiness, good health, new adventures, and all the yellow monster trucks your little heart could ever want. 💛🚜

🏁💛 MONSTER JAM FOR OUR LITTLE MONSTER TRUCK LOVER! 💛🏁

We kicked off Tucker’s birthday celebrations a little early with a trip to Monster Jam! 🛻💨 Our sweet boy turns 3 on October 24th, and we’re also celebrating something even bigger — ONE YEAR with his new kidney! 💚🫘

For most families, taking their child to Monster Jam might seem like just another fun outing, but for us, it was so much more. Because Tucker is immunocompromised, big crowds and events like this aren’t always something we can safely do. So when we got the green light from his hospital team that he was cleared to go, we were beyond excited! 🥹

After everything this little boy has been through, getting to watch him experience something he absolutely LOVES was a moment we’ll never forget. Seeing the excitement on his face, watching those big monster trucks, and getting to make these memories together meant more to us than words can explain.

There was a time when our days were filled with hospital rooms, dialysis, surgeries, and so much uncertainty. Now, here we are, watching our little boy enjoy the things that make childhood so special. 💛

These are the moments we prayed for. These are the memories we fought for. And these are the milestones we will never take for granted.

Happy early 3rd birthday and happy ONE YEAR with your kidney, Tucker! We hope your life is filled with a million more adventures just like this one.

💚 ONE YEAR. ONE GIFT OF LIFE. ONE INCREDIBLE MIRACLE. 💚

October 14th marked ONE YEAR since Tucker received his gift of life — his new kidney! 🫘💚

I don’t think there will ever be enough words to describe what this day means to our family.

From the moment Tucker entered this world, his life has been anything but easy. Born with end-stage renal failure, respiratory failure, and Prune Belly Syndrome, he began fighting battles that no baby should ever have to face. At just TWO DAYS OLD, he started dialysis. During his first week of life, he suffered a stroke. After 133 long days in the NICU, we finally brought our miracle boy home.

But his fight was far from over.

There were countless hospital stays, surgeries, medications, dialysis treatments, appointments, and nights spent praying for a miracle. At just one year old, Tucker had both of his kidneys removed, leaving him completely dependent on dialysis while we waited for the gift that would change his life forever.

And then, in October 2025, God answered the prayers we had prayed a thousand times over. 💚

Tucker received his kidney transplant just two weeks before his second birthday.

I remember dreaming of the days when Tucker could simply be a little boy. Days without dialysis controlling our lives. Days filled with laughter, playing outside, running around, and experiencing all the little things that so many people take for granted.

And today, we are LIVING those days. 🥹

In just ONE YEAR, we have watched Tucker blossom into a completely different little boy. He’s walking, talking, eating foods he never could before, swimming, playing with his monster trucks, and discovering the world in ways we once only dreamed about.

The little boy who spent so much of his life fighting just to survive is finally getting the chance to simply LIVE.

And that is something I will never, ever take for granted.

To Tucker’s donor, there will never be enough thank-yous in this world. Because of you, our little boy has been given a second chance at life. You’ve given us more birthdays, more milestones, more laughter, more memories, and a future that once felt so uncertain. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

To every person who prayed, shared Tucker’s story, donated, supported us, or stood beside our family through the hardest years of our lives — THANK YOU. You were all part of getting us to this moment.

And to our sweet Tucker, you are the strongest little boy I have ever known. You have overcome more in your short life than most people will ever understand. You have taught us what true strength, faith, patience, and unconditional love look like.

We know a transplant isn’t a cure, and there will always be challenges ahead. But today, we aren’t focusing on the challenges.

Today, we celebrate 365 days of new life. 365 days of answered prayers. 365 days of watching our miracle unfold right before our eyes.

Happy ONE YEAR KIDNEYVERSARY, Tucker! 💚🫘

🐾💛 Another pretty incredible chapter in Tucker’s story… 💛🐾

Cali has officially started her scent training to alert to high blood pressure for Tucker. 🥹

For most families, a blood pressure reading may just be another number. For us, after everything Tucker has been through—being born in end-stage kidney failure, dialysis beginning at just 2 days old, countless hospital stays and procedures, and ultimately receiving his kidney transplant—those numbers carry a little more weight.

Now this sweet girl is learning Tucker’s scent and being trained to recognize changes associated with high blood pressure so she can alert us. The thought of Cali eventually being beside him, not only as his best friend but as another set of eyes (and one very powerful nose 🐶) looking out for him, means more than I can put into words.

Tucker has spent so much of his little life surrounded by doctors, hospitals, medications, labs and appointments. He has fought incredibly hard for the life he has today. Knowing that Cali is working just as hard to learn how to help protect that life is something really special. 😭💛

We also have to give the BIGGEST shoutout to Loyalty Service Dogs. The amount of time, patience, knowledge, love and dedication that goes into training a service dog is incredible. There are so many hours of work behind every skill and every successful alert, and we are beyond grateful for everything they are pouring into Cali to prepare her for Tucker.

One day, all of this training will come together and Cali will come home to the little boy she has been working so hard for. 🥹

Until then… keep working hard, Cali girl. 💛🐾

Tucker is getting the hang of his bedtime prayers❤️ we are so thankful to everyone who has been part of his journey from the beginning. Being able to see him thrive after his transplant knowing the struggles he faced before he received his miracle from God.

A day that never gets easier.

Your birthday.

Today you would be 6. You would be going into 1st grade. There’s a lot of things we would be doing like celebrating with a big party surrounded by all your friends and our family. Like watching you tear into your piece of cake like you had been waiting all day for it. Like watching you rip into your birthday presents squealing with joy because it was exactly what you wanted. Like going shopping for school clothes and supplies, counting down the sleeps until we met your teacher.

Instead we celebrate you in a different way. We celebrate the 2.5 beautiful months you gave us. The laughter I remember like it was yesterday. The sleepless nights I’d happily go through all over again if it meant you’d still be here.

We miss you so much. The bible tells us you are whole and happy enjoying yourself in Heaven, but selfishly I want you here.. with us. But I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus.

Happy 6th birthday Grayson. We love you all the way to Jesus and back.
