Do you have copious photos of your cute kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, parents sitting in your computer? Use them to make cards and send them a smile!
Everyone loves getting a card but a card with their photo on it makes it even more special. They will keep it longer, remember you sent it and maybe even thank you for it.
Follow me and I will inspire you to use those photos. That is one of my goals with this site - provide inspiration and hopefully motivate you to create. Stay tune and find a photo to put on a Halloween card!

World Cardmaking Day is October 7, 2023.
I created my first cards last year on World Cardmaking Day by participating in the webinar that Stampin' Up! sponsored - it is open to everyone.
If your creative side is calling and you have been ignoring it - you are welcome to join me on October 7! Even those who are experienced papercrafters or part of Butterfly Friends and want to join friends for this event - you are welcome.
I will cut and prepare the materials you need along with streaming the Stampin' Up! event on my TV. I do have limited room, so comment below by end of September and I will reach out to you.

OOPS! I did something wrong, should it be sideways???
Oh well, I did my first FB LIVE and survived without having to eat creepy things to get your attention or dropping the camera. I'll try to do better next time - if there is a next time???????

I want to introduce this amazing person, Robin Armbrecht, who has completely changed my life! I met Robin through the Dyslexia Center 7 years ago... Robin trained me to tutor kids with dyslexia using the Orton Gillingham method. She was the director of the center at that time and an amazing instructor and mentor. Tutoring kids with dyslexia and changing their lives after they learn to successfully read has made the biggest difference in my life.
But there's more............ NOW she is my mentor in learning how to create fun and stylish cards! YES, she is amazing and very creative. Again, she has been so supportive on my journey with Stampin' Up! and encouraging my unique vision on cardmaking.
Thank you Robin Armbrecht for who you are and your positive impact on my life.

I've just finished reading "Lessons in Chemistry" by first time author - Bonnie Garmus and loved it! This book seems to be on everyone's favorite book list this summer - my mom read it twice she loved it so much! I'd love to pass my book in large print on to someone else to read along with a card designed to accompany the book (thanks to PinkBuckeroo for the inspiration). Just let me know in the comments what book I should read next?
I'll choose the next reader at random from the comments.

I'm curious - why do you make cards?
The three R's are my driving force: I find the creative process Relaxing, the resulting cards are Rewarding and the whole process Renews me!
Making cards for my grandkids super charge my R's - PLUS, they love it when their picture is featured. Here are some Halloween cards I've been working on.......
