Check out the loot from my first post-dying estate sale! 😍

My precious daughter-in-law alerted me to a local estate sale with lots of Fiestaware and I was able to go and find so many pretty things! 🙌🏻

It was so exciting to get back to hunting vintage. 🥰

The Post86 Fiestaware was my goal, but the Pyrex and Fire King and Enamel Brooches were the cherries on top.

Hi, Friends! I know I'vebeen awfully quiet, but I'm still building my strength and not yet physically ready to reopen The Blue Goose.

I thought I was going to be able to restart our weekly game, but got really discouraged when I discovered that hashtags are no longer sorted chronologically.

I'm going to try really hard to start posting some here each week.

I'm posting most days on my personal account - - if you like nature and art and God and such.

My Fiestaware Mini Disc Pitcher in the 2024 color release - Sky! 💙 I love Sky - it's so cheerful. What do you think? Do you like or dislike Fiestaware Sky?

What colors would you like to see paired with Fiestaware Sky? As I have all the Post86 Mini Pitchers, I thought I might show any color combinations anyone might like to see.

New to my collection! My sweet daughter-in-law found this charming village piece at an estate sale recently and gave it to me.

This is "The Old Mill" by Jane Hart and is part of The Country Village Collection from The Danbury Mint.

Produced in 1994, when I was graduating from high school, this piece is now 30 years old and classified as vintag. Isn't that a strange thought? 😂

I am seeing many young ladies enjoying items which portray village scenes such as this. I think the idyllic miniatures are so appealing and it seems I'm not alone.

All miniatures, including dollhouses are having a resurgence. They provide a lovely escape from the current chaos around us.

I don't have an entire collection - or room for one - but I thought you might enjoy seeing the unusual way I chose to display this piece.

My village sits atop a vintage Fiestaware Flower Pot Saucer in Heather.

The flower pot itself holds a Wavy Jade, but this saucer was alone and I think it looks pretty with the wee village.

The Fiestaware Flower Pot and Saucer was a Betty Crocker exclusive and there are currently several available on eBay in Scarlet, Cinnabar, Cobalt, Turquoise, and Persimmon.

- We're moving to Mondays! 🎉

I know, I'm running behind this week, but I'm still learning how to manage my time during my recovery. It seems like every day is so full and I am a little slower than I used to be. But every week is better than the last! 🙌🏻

Our entry for this week's game is all Sky with a stack of Fiestaware Salad Plate, Tapered Mug, and Coaster. ☁️ ☁️ ☁️

My sweet friend, , told me that the Coaster would indeed fit atop my beloved Tapered Mugs, so I chose it as the free gift during the Sky release. It keeps my tea delightfully hot. 💙

I adore Fiestaware Sky & Sapphire together! What do you think?

I'm still not physically able to spend much time in my "shop" in the basement, but my son brought my precious Fiestaware Mini Pitcher collection - every Post86 color produced - up to my bedroom for me to enjoy. Isn't he so sweet?

I love these two colors together so much that I have them both on a tiered tray in my room.

Paired together, they're positively heavenly. ☁️

Hello, Friends! ❣️

I hope you are all doing well!

I apologize for keeping so quiet for such a long time. I've been posting on my personal account some, but mainly I've been working really hard on recovering from my death last June.

For those who may not know, I suffered two cardiac arrests and then spent a few weeks in a coma while doctors waited to see if my heart would start working again.

Ever since, I've had to learn how to use my body again. Walking, talking, eating, even breathing. It's been a lot of work - as you can imagine.

While in the hospital, I also had Pneumonia, a Seizure, and Covid. Covid made my hair fall out, hence the hat. 👒

I spent 159 days in the hospital and finally got home home on November 30th.

When I first returned home, I was in a wheelchair, but - thanks to daily home physical therapy - I progressed to a walker, then a rolling walker (a Rollator), and now a cane.

I'm now in an outpatient physical therapy program twice a week and rebuilding my strength and stamina.

I hope to soon be able to more easily go up and down my basement stairs so that I can open The Blue Goose Boutique back up again.

Until then, I'm going to try to get this account rolling again.

I've missed you all terribly!

Many of you sent me sweet cards and thoughtful gifts and kind messages and I can never thank you all enough to let you understand just how much you all have helped me through this long year.
