In case you missed the Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase...here is a video of some of the wheels. I am the first one she interviewed. I was combing wool on my Viking wool combs. I wasn’t spinning from the combs, I was pulling the fiber off the combs to create a roving to spin from.

Take a look at some of these antique wheels. So many different kinds from different countries. (I apologize for the phone ringing about halfway through.)

A new update:

We are thankful that Verity’s instability settled out reasonably quickly on Friday. She is now off the paralytics, but still on some sedation medication, though nicely awake at times. Thankfully, the two most serious reasons for her instability on Friday were clearly ruled out! We are praying she is able to make reasonably quick progress. Another blessing is they restarted feeding again via the feeding tube instead of just IV fluid. The prayer request for now is for her lungs and body to start working well enough so she can work her way off the ventilator again.
