🐔 Well, cluck me… apparently September is National Chicken Month! 😂

And wouldn’t you know it — The Starlet Vintage Shoppe has enough chickens waiting in the wings to properly celebrate. 🎬🐓

So I figured… why not let them have their moment in the spotlight?

First up is this colorful ceramic hen, sitting pretty and looking like she dressed for fall before the rest of us even got the memo. 🍂😂

She’s bold.
She’s colorful.
She’s got feathers for days.
And apparently… September is HER month. 💁‍♀️🐔

September is going to be a busy month—and here’s the first exciting announcement! 🍂

I’ll be set up at the Sunday Market at Storey Park on September 6 and 20 from 10 AM–4 PM!

🍑🥔 A Little Local Farmers Market Haul! 🌿🐾

I checked out the Star Farmers Market on State Street yesterday and came home with a few goodies!

First of all… LOOK at that giant Idaho potato! 🥔😂 At that size, I only needed ONE — Mark and I can definitely share that!

And how about those gorgeous locally grown peaches?! 🍑 I’m not sure what’s in this Idaho soil, but WOW! I can’t wait to enjoy one all by itself and slice another up for my fruit-infused water. 💦🍑

The fresh tomatillos are going to make some killer salsa 🌶️, the small-batch orange cranberry granola will be perfect with my morning yogurt, and of course I couldn’t leave without getting some locally made treats for Spartacus! 🐾❤️

I absolutely LOVE finding fresh, locally grown and locally made goodies while supporting our local farmers and small businesses at the same time! ❤️

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾❤️

Today we’re celebrating Spartacus—the last of our beloved Frenchie trio and the little guy who continues to fill our home with love, laughter, snuggles and plenty of Frenchie mischief!

We’re also lovingly remembering Goliath and Delilah. Although they are no longer here with us, they will always be part of our family and forever hold a special place in our hearts. Together, these three have given us a lifetime of love, laughter and beautiful memories.

Booth #71 at 208 Emporium has officially been refreshed for the season, and it’s filled with warm colors, whimsical finds, roosters, scarecrows, pumpkins and plenty of one-of-a-kind vintage charm. 🐓🎃🍁

I’m sharing a peek at some of the treasures currently in the booth—but there’s even more waiting for you that didn’t make it into the carousel! You’ll just have to stop by and see what else you can find. 👀
