B-Side Bow Ties started in a tiny apartment in Kent Ohio. I was watching WKRP in Cincinnati right after I inherited a sewing machine. After seeing Les Nessman's bow ties on the show, I wanted to start wearing bow ties but couldn't afford them. Since 2011, I've been using the fabric of quality neckties to make my bow ties. Most ties are 100% silk, though I do stray to wool and cotton occasionally.

Each tie is carefully selected, disassembled, cleaned, cut, and reassembled to create these unique ties. All ties are adjustable and must be tied with each use. Adjusters are high quality nylon coated metal for easy sliding. I am currently living and operating in Staunton, Virginia.
