Hey ASG Atlanta Chapter Family and Friends!

There's still time to purchase tickets for the upcoming Basic Serger Class and you don't want to miss out. Rita Mantel a longtime ASG member will show us how a serger can transform sewing.

This hands‑on class will help you conquer the basics:
✅ 4‑thread seams & finishing techniques
✅ Switching to 3‑thread mode
✅ Edge stitching for conventional seams
✅ Rolled hems, curves, and corners

Prerequisite: You must be able to thread your serger from scratch.

Donations Are Now Being Accepted! 💚

The ASG Atlanta Chapter is officially collecting donations for our annual Common Threads Fabric Resale 2026. You have a chance to pass along quality sewing items and help fellow makers discover new treasures!

This year’s color theme: GREEN 🌿

Here’s how to prep your donations:
- Wrap fabric with a muslin strip and label width (inches) and yardage (closest ¼ yard)
- Bag small notions with counts (we’ll price them for you)
- Garment & quilting fabric only (no home‑dec or scraps)
- Patterns, notions, books, and embroidery items are welcome
