I’ve been using a LOT of basket theme embroidery for this upcoming bag drop. I was looking in my stash today for lining fabric for this bag and got a good chuckle when I saw the name of the fabric! 😊

Here’s what that beautiful crewel embroidery became. 🌸🌼 A large flat project bag and matching notions bag. The last photo shows just how little of the stitching was cropped off (hint, not much!). 🌸🌼

A great rescue! 🌸💐🌼
This amazing piece of crewel embroidery was rescued from the GW bins this week. It was glued to a tattered board. I removed it from the board and them gently washed in Woolite by hand in cold water. I dried it quickly in the sun on my back deck. None of the colors bled, whew! Now I need to decide how to crop it for a bag. So lovely! 🌸🌼🌷
