McCoy Kids is a one-stop destination in Downtown Tacoma, WA for all of the littles and new arrivals in your your life. Founded in October 2020, we operated the first three years out of our house and expanded to our brick and mortar three years ago this Winter.

Our double-zip sleepers are sourced from Canada, our clothing from sustainable brands in Europe, and we have the softest, baby-approved stuffies from Douglas.

We carry a small selection of gift bags and cards for folks on the go, but if you’re looking for something extra special, we suggest popping-in to our neighbor Stationery store Tacoma two doors up as her selection of cards (and more) is truly something special. 🥰

We invest time and care in sourcing top-quality products for your little ones. This includes natural rubber teethers from Oli & Carol , sensory goodies from Manhattan Toys, and a curated selection of books as well!

Some of our favorite books include Dear Little One from local author Nina Laden! We stock all of the crinkle, bath books, and flash cards you and your little desire.

Hey all - sharing a quick update on our retail shop. We headed into this year trying to expand our hours as much as possible and have loved seeing you all on Sundays, but unfortunately with most of the block being closed the math is just not mathing. Effective immediately, we will be CLOSED on Sundays.

Our shop is open 24/7 online and we remain open for in store shopping Tuesday - Friday, 11 to 5 and Saturdays from 10-5. We will aim to expand those hours more as we enter the Holiday season.

Attention all NeeDoh lovers and seekers - we will be having a very limited drop happening IN STORE ONLY this Saturday, April 25 from 9 to 10am (before we open for business for the day). Because of the limited nature of NeeDoh and because of the influx of resellers we have been encountering, we have had to put some unconventional rules in place.

PLEASE SCROLL THROUGH THIS WHOLE POST to read and understand the rules before visiting us on Saturday. And please be respectful of the rules and kind to our staff on Saturday so that we can all continue to enjoy NeeDoh in the future.

* We will have Teeny Fuzz Ball 3 packs and Cool Kitten 4 packs, only. No singles this time. 😩
* NeeDoh will be limited to one PACK per person/group so that each person in your group can have 1 NeeDoh unit (not one pack per person). People must be age 6+ to count.
* We will be capturing and validating your first and last name with each purchase. We will not be capturing email or phone and this is not for marketing, but rather so we can ensure our per drop limit is enforced.
* Resellers beware. We have been monitoring NeeDoh resellers and reserve the right to refuse a purchase. We will not sell to resellers.
* Lastly, but most important, there are other businesses on our block. Please be respectful of them, their customers, and other customers in line. No cutting and no adding additional folks to your group post-arrival. Late arrivals must go to the back of the line.
