Haulin’ Threads had the pleasure of guiding this hands-on craft activity as we celebrated FAMU Homecoming. From choosing beads and charms to adding their names, they made every creation their own! 🐍🔑

From boardrooms to brim designs! 👒✨

During Tallahassee SBDC Small Business Week, keynote speaker Twyla Garrett stepped outside of her comfort zone and into the DIY world , and absolutely owned it! 🔥

Watching a powerhouse businesswoman tap into her creativity and create a custom hat she was genuinely proud of was such an amazing experience. 💚

Proof that no matter how successful you are, there’s always room to create, explore, and have fun outside the box.

Setting up during Big Bend Regional Small Business Week opened the door to so many meaningful opportunities to connect with executives, business owners, and employees from all different industries.

One thing I learned this week… creativity belongs in corporate spaces too.

Providing a creative release during a corporate event does more than just entertain people; it creates conversations, builds relationships, relieves stress, sparks innovation, and reminds people to reconnect with themselves outside of their titles and responsibilities.

Sometimes all it takes is one experience, one conversation, or one moment of creativity to completely change the trajectory of the second half of the year.

The energy, connections, and opportunities created this week were unmatched and this is only the beginning. ✨

Did you know there was a time when Black wealth THRIVED in America?

Black Wall Street was more than just a place… it was POWER. 💰🏘️
It was a community where Black-owned businesses, banks, doctors, and entrepreneurs supported EACH OTHER. The dollar circulated within the community for months, building generational wealth.

Now let’s talk about TODAY… 👀

The Black dollar now leaves the community in hours. HOURS.
That means we’re spending… but not recycling wealth back into our own businesses.

So what changed? 🤔
👉 Less support for Black-owned businesses
👉 More outside spending
👉 Fewer systems to keep money circulating

But here’s the GOOD NEWS… 💡
We can shift that.
Every time you choose to support a Black business, you’re rebuilding what once was.

🗣️ Be intentional
🛍️ Shop Black
🤝 Build together

Don’t just spend money… circulate it.
