Removing our names from historic humanitarian accomplishments will no longer define us as descendants of a glorious race of enslaved people. We will no longer accept the marginalization of our continued contributions and the defamation of the caliber of race for being descendants of slaves.

We build we cultivate your lands. We took care of your houses, and your families, we prioritize you’re sick and injured above our own. We gave our lifeblood to this country only to come back and have our lifeblood taken from us.

We have made countless contributions currently and by our marginalized ancestors. Each of these speaks volumes of not only our character but who we are as a race of people. With each challenge presented, we still rose to the challenge. We are a loving people, we are an indomitable race of innovators. With every challenge presented, we will still rise. -SF Homer

I am so proud of all my children but Cassie I am proud of the young woman you become. You left the nest first. Always the go getter from day one. She an entrepreneur, trend setter, as well as a risk taker. She had a wonderful career wanted more so she move out of her comfort zone to accomplish her dreams. I love how she face down her fears daily and stand boldly in her truth. Today is Casieta 35th birthday please join me in wishing her a joyous day.

Happiest Mother’s Day to every MOM out there both traditional and untraditional. The ability to have a child may indeed make you a mother but not always a mom. Care,Love, Selflessness are the three major traits that all Moms have perfected. Acquiring these three magical traits for some of us was as natural as breathing from day one. While for others it may have taken a bit of time for mastery; but you did! Today of all days take a moment and tell and show the MOM in your life exactly how much you love her🦋💙❤️

I see images like this and it reminds me of the early days of gangster rap, slavery, and the current narrative of clot chasing. The degrading of women but a much larger narrative of Black and Brown women who are willing participants of this degradation by checking their self-respect at the door to be in close proximity of pseudo fame.

The thing is images like this within the black/ brown communities double down, by supporting a long-held narrative, we are over-sexualized and how Black/ Brown women are to be treated. It goes well beyond this music video across every aspect of our lives. Socio-economically it affects each of us across all areas: healthcare, housing, judicial, and education. This young man depicted here also plays an unwitting role as his actions hurt the larger narrative of all Black men.

Just why??? So, her so-called, 'friends" appears to be getting a pass in horrifically taking this young entrepreneur Shanquella Robinson's life!! I say it appears, yet we all know that karma and "street justice" will haunt and shorten their lives. What a cautionary tale this entire sad saga but very true. "Folks who smile in your face claiming to be your friends while the entire time plotting your demise".

I hope this horrific saga awakens many entrepreneurs' eyes both young and "seasoned" to keep a practice of being evenly yoked in all your friendship circles while being leery of those that suddenly appear in your presence. Even following this protocol, there will be people that are naturally greedy, if so, simply limit their access.

Jealousy and covetousness are cut of the same cloth and are very real. Folks will watch from the parameters of your life wanting in. They truly do not understand the upkeep nor what it takes to operate at this level; they just simply want it.

Over time your so-called "friend's" spirit of hate and envy festers and grows stronger as your achievements begin to serve as a reminder of their own shortcomings. Tale-tale signs:

* Super quick to promote your success n your face, while simultaneously destroying your character to others based on how they would achieve and maintain your success, knowledge, and prestige.
*They are quick to reap the benefits of your generosity, success and justly deserved accolades
*often appear moody when you ask what's wrong, "Oh nothing"

Be wary of those in sheep's clothing. No one is above reproach family nor friends or colleagues.
