Yesterday was one of those days that felt both beautiful and heartbreaking. A bittersweet “see ya later” to Arkansas, and to the family God placed in our lives right when we needed it most. And maybe… just maybe… we were meant to be there for them too.
It all started with our RV — our home — breaking down at JJ’s Gas Station in Malvern, Arkansas. We asked a family nearby if they happened to have any tools in their truck, and from that simple moment, everything changed.
By around 9pm, we still hadn’t figured it out. JJ’s was preparing to tow our RV, and uncertainty was heavy in the air. But this family refused to let us face it alone. They made sure we were safe — and still blows our minds to say this — they towed our RV to their own home.
What started as strangers became family. We spent the end-of-the-year holidays together, sharing meals, laughter, stories, and creating a bond that can’t be explained — only felt.
Saying “see ya later” was incredibly hard. Arkansas will always hold a special place in our hearts, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable.
Thank you for being our guardian angels. Thank you for showing us what true kindness, love, and faith look like in action. This isn’t goodbye — it’s just until we meet again. 🤍🙏 Rachel Parson May Wyllia
