Shepherd & Lamb

Shepherd & Lamb Guided by Faith. Worn with Purpose.

Shepherd & Lamb creates faith-driven apparel where Scripture, history, art, and intentional design come together — each piece created to honor God, carry His Word, and inspire meaningful conversations about faith.

Something exciting is happening at Shepherd & Lamb.

Over the past several months, life has brought a lot of change, reflection, and perspective. It has given me the opportunity to slow down and look carefully at life, my own direction, and the things I want to pour my time and energy into moving forward.

That reflection led me deeper into my faith, closer to God, and back to Shepherd & Lamb — this time with a much clearer understanding of what I believe it is meant to become.

The changes coming aren’t simply about adding new shirts or creating new designs. They’re about becoming much more intentional with the art we create, the stories we tell, the way the website presents each Work, and the purpose behind everything that carries the Shepherd & Lamb name.

At the center of that vision is one thing: Everything we do should glorify God.

The artwork, the research, the garments, the website, the words we choose, and even the smallest details most people may never notice — nothing is there by accident.

Shepherd & Lamb was never meant to be just another Christian apparel company placing a Bible verse on a shirt. Our goal is to create work that carries meaning, history, craftsmanship, and faith — work that honors the message we have been entrusted to represent.

THE ART

You’re going to begin seeing much more original artwork from Shepherd & Lamb. Some pieces will feel like something that belongs in a gallery. Others will take a more modern, stripped-down streetwear approach.

The styles may be different, but the foundation remains the same: to point back to God.

Our Gallery Works are developed as complete works of art first, and before the artwork begins, the research begins.

We study Scripture first, then dig into the historical world surrounding it. We research archaeology, geography, first-century clothing and textiles, architecture, agriculture, landscapes, roads, villages, tools, shepherding practices, and the ordinary details of life during the biblical period.

Why go that far? Because if we are going to create artwork inspired by God’s Word, we believe it deserves that level of care.

We don’t want to simply repeat the biblical imagery we have all grown accustomed to seeing. We want to understand, as faithfully as we can, what that world may actually have looked like.

What would a working shepherd have worn? What would the road beneath his feet have looked like? What plants would have grown there? What materials would have been used? What kind of village might have appeared in the distance?

Those details may seem small, but to us, they aren’t.

WORK NO. 001 — THE WALK

Our first Gallery Work, The Walk, is a perfect example of this approach.

More than 40 hours went into the research, development, refinement, and creation of this single Work. And those weren’t simply 40 hours spent creating an image.

We studied Scripture, researched the historical setting, questioned details, corrected things that weren’t right, adjusted the composition, refined the environment, and sometimes went back and changed portions entirely.

Even the length and style of the Shepherd’s clothing was changed.

During our research, we found that the long, flowing robes so often associated with biblical imagery did not necessarily represent what a working man in first-century Judaea and Galilee would have typically worn. So we refined the Shepherd’s clothing toward the shorter tunic and mantle more appropriate to the period.

Would most people ever look at the finished artwork and consciously notice the length of his tunic? Probably not. But we know why it is that length, and that matters.

The same care went into the Shepherd, the lamb, the path, the village, the landscape, and the atmosphere surrounding them.

Why put more than 40 hours into one piece of artwork? Because the goal was never simply to make a beautiful picture.

We want to create something thoughtful, historically grounded, and worthy of the message it represents — not to show people how much research we can do, but because we know Who the Work is ultimately for.

It’s about glorifying God by giving our very best to something created in response to His Word.

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”
— Colossians 3:23 (NKJV)

A Shepherd walks ahead. A lamb follows behind. There is still distance to travel, a path ahead, and a destination the lamb cannot yet see.

But the Shepherd knows where He is going.

That is The Walk, and that standard of research, reverence, and craftsmanship will carry into every Shepherd & Lamb Work moving forward.

A DIFFERENT SIDE OF SHEPHERD & LAMB

Alongside the Gallery Works, we are also developing a very different visual language for the brand.

Our upcoming Street collection will be darker, simpler, more abstract, and more graphic — black garments, white and gray artwork, negative space, bold imagery, minimal words, and symbols that can communicate before a single sentence is read.

It will look very different from our Gallery Works, but it will come from the same place. Faith doesn’t have to be expressed through one artistic style.

THE WEBSITE

The website is evolving alongside the brand.

We are moving away from the feeling of a traditional online T-shirt store and toward a place where you can discover the art, meaning, history, research, and story behind each Work.

You’ll begin seeing more emphasis on the artwork itself, cleaner presentation, more intentional typography, deeper storytelling, stronger visual presentation, and clearer distinctions between our different collections.

We want someone to discover a Shepherd & Lamb Work and think, “I want to know why they created this.”

And when they look deeper, we want there to be a meaningful answer.

WHERE WE’RE HEADED

Our vision moving forward is becoming very clear: Create work worthy of the message it carries.

Not because a shirt, a painting, or a brand could ever compare to the importance of God’s Word. It can’t. But because what we create in response to His Word should reflect care, excellence, and purpose.

If something we create causes someone to stop, think, remember a passage of Scripture, ask a question, or begin a conversation about faith, then that Work can serve a purpose far beyond the garment itself.

Shepherd & Lamb is becoming a place where faith, history, art, and modern design meet — with Christ remaining at the center of it all.

Some Works will be quiet. Some will be powerful. Some may look like fine art. Others may feel completely at home in contemporary streetwear.

But every one of them should answer the same question: Does this honor God?

There is a lot coming — new Works, new collections, new art, an evolving website, more research, more storytelling, and several ideas we haven’t shown anyone yet.

We are incredibly excited for you to see where this is going, and we are grateful to everyone who has followed Shepherd & Lamb, encouraged us, purchased something, shared our work, prayed for us, or simply believed in what we are trying to build.

We’re only getting started.

Soli Deo Gloria.

He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. — Matthew 28:6

Easter is not about a tradition. It is about the empty tomb, the finished work of the cross, and the hope we have because Jesus is alive.

At Shepherd & Lamb, we believe the Gospel changes everything. Because of His sacrifice, we are forgiven. Because of His resurrection, we have life, hope, and a future.

No matter what you are carrying today, the tomb is still empty and Jesus is still faithful.

“He was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” — Romans 4:25

Happy Easter from Shepherd & Lamb. May your heart be reminded today that death was defeated, sin was conquered, and our Savior lives.

The Week That Changed the World ✝️

Palm Sunday — Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, and the crowds shouted, “Hosanna!” They believed a King had come. They laid palm branches at His feet, not knowing He had come not to conquer Rome, but to save the world.

Monday–Wednesday — Jesus taught in the temple, healed the broken, and prepared His disciples for what was coming. While many followed Him, others began to plot against Him.

Thursday — Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples. He washed their feet, prayed in the garden, and was betrayed by Judas.

Good Friday — Jesus was beaten, crucified, and laid in a tomb. The sky grew dark. Hope seemed lost. But even on the cross, He said, “Father, forgive them.”

Saturday — Silence. The stone remained in place. The disciples grieved, and the world waited.

Easter Sunday — The tomb was empty.

Jesus had risen.

Death was defeated. Sin was conquered. Hope was alive.

This was the week that changed the world—and it can still change your life today.

SAVED Tee | Ephesians 2:8–9

“You are saved by grace through faith.” ✝️

The SAVED Tee is a reminder of one simple truth: salvation is a gift from God, not something we could ever earn.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith... it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8–9
