The postpartum period comes with some BIG (and very normal) body changes that many moms don’t expect. 💛

✨ Your postpartum body needs time to heal. It’s very common to still look several months pregnant right after delivery — your body just did something incredible and recovery takes time.

✨ Night sweats and hot flashes can happen in the days and weeks after birth thanks to major hormone shifts and your body releasing extra fluid.

✨ Breast changes are also expected as your milk transitions in. You may notice engorgement, tenderness, leaking, or sensitivity while your body learns how much milk your baby needs.

Knowing what’s normal can help new moms feel more prepared and supported during the fourth trimester.
