I am remaking the baby blankets I made years ago for my dear friend's sons after a fire took her and her husband's lives and left both boys on life support. My hope is to have them done by the funeral but I will pursue this until it happens. I was able to get one's easily (the blanket is one of the first projects I posted on this page), but I am on the hunt for a yard of this fabric. It came from Joann's about 8yrs ago. The only person I've found selling it wants over $100 (priced at $99.99 plus shipping and tax). The other listings I've found are sold or there was one scam website that was using pictures stolen from the multiple sold accounts.
Please let me know if you come across it.

Livingston, TX is having the Livingston Pagan Market this weekend so I'm embroidering some handkerchiefs and experimenting with making patches. I haven't decided on all the designs yet but first up is one for the Year of the Rabbit. Next one will probably be tarot theme but haven't decided.

My mother reminded me I never posted the wallet I did for my dad a bit ago. I plan to post the videos of the process to Tiktok. The ship on it is the Elissa, a still functioning 1877 tall ship that docks in Galveston.

Since I have a couple days left on my current embroidery software, I decided to make all the symbols from this Alchemy table (not exactly these, I manually drew each so there's a little bit of stylistic difference) and a few chemical compounds because eventually I want to play with making custom magic circles and such for LARP wear. After the three or so days of drawing symbols and 2 days of digitizing them, I'm wondering if I tried selling the embroidery files themselves if anyone would be interested. I also have the Western and Chinese zodiacs (the animals themselves not the kanji), so let me know what you think.

Now that the all the gifts I made have reached their destinations I can share them here. We have a skirt I made my mother, the embroidery of my brother's dog I put on a scarf for him, and while I forgot to take a picture of the scarf I did for my dad I have my test stitch of the embroidery on it. Years ago I drew a picture of him as a samurai and so this year I converted it into an embroidery file. The colors are different and on the final I adjusted the glasses, eyebrows, and eyes so they weren't one line, but the idea is there. Later I will share my husband's wallet and bagpipe cover

I had a request to make a cape but the person was unsure of the style. So today I'm making a variety of cloaks out of fabric I already have, the first is wool that I haven't decided on a clasp for. Also going to make a fur cape yhat can be worn with it. The second is a style I've never made before but I wanted something that would show off the inside. Needs some kind of embellishments on the front, debating on adding a hood. Going to make another with the reverse for colors next, that one will be in another style, possibly with an attached cape. I also have some tartan fabrics, but I feel like those tend to look better as caplets. Because there's a chance of rain, I'm wondering if I should pick up some fleece since I'm not sure how the wool will handle it
