Our doors first opened in May 2022, inspired by the need for race swag for our sister company, the Canaan Valley Running Company. But we didn't stop there - we've created our own unique identity, blending our love for the great outdoors, running, snowboarding, music, and more. McClumsy finds

its roots in our founder, Robby McClung, whose last name is McClung, and whose delightful clumsiness is an inherent trait. Embracing his own persona, Robby made the bold decision to build a brand around his childhood moniker, resulting in McClumsy—a name that epitomizes approachability, energy, and laid-back vibes. At McClumsy, we're all about creating high-quality and affordable apparel that can keep up with your adventures. Our founder, Robby McClung, hails from both Elkins, West Virginia, and Islamorada, in the Florida Keys. So we completely dropped the ball… I definitely overpromised and underdelivered.

For the past couple years, we’ve done custom hats for Cheat Fest, and this year we did too. But we ran into some hiccups, and the hats have not arrived yet.

I’ll totally own it. This is my mistake and my fault.

That being said, 100% of the proceeds from these hats go directly to benefit Friends of the Cheat, which is an amazing organization. The hats are rad, and there will be a very limited number of them arriving very soon!

So even though they’re late, I ask you to still check them out because they’re definitely one of the coolest hats we’ve ever made, and they support an amazing cause.

If we let anybody down this weekend, I apologize… it’s my fault. But on the bright side, there are some rad hats in the future, and we’ll have a very limited number of them, so stay tuned.

We’ve got this awesome new DJI Osmo Action 6… it’s time to up our content game and add to our story.

In addition to photos and our series, I want to start doing more adventure content—more videos about doing stuff. Whether it’s just exploring local areas, fishing, hiking… you name it.

But I also have to get better at my craft, so starting next week I’m going to start honing my skills with one of my favorite muses, Blackwater Falls State Park. Stay tuned for some cool content—and hopefully it just keeps getting better.
