Introducing, in collaboration with Tucson-based artist Elvis Godwyn Snyder, the Nirvana Tee, screen printed with water-based ink on up-cycled t-shirts. This character is unofficially “Weird Garfield” because it is modeled from a stuffed animal of the famous cartoon cat (but we cannot legally title that). Calling it Nirvana because this character’s countenance evokes the famous rock band’s smiley face design.

Each print is one of one. Except for two Royal Apparel factory imperfects, these are totally sourced from Tucson thrift shops, shirts in variety were carefully selected and prepared for reuse. Offering a limited supply for sale online, with only 20 units for this initial drop, and just 8 made available online. If you would like this and don’t see your size, please DM.

Introducing Celeste the Astronaut. This design comes from Tucson-based artist Lighthouse, the first in a series of illustrated characters forthcoming. Celeste is out on a spacewalk when she encounters a little green man, taken aback, her heel jets flare off. She is wearing the Neptune Belt, and Galle Cuffs around her arms. We'll get around to building that spacesuit when the NASA contract comes through. Printed by DTF on a Bella+Canvas unisex tee in Lavendar Blue. Due to a factory shortage in that color, the mediums are in Oxblood Black. This shirt is all American-made.

Introducing the Conway Belt. Named after the buckle that makes this design so cool. It's actually a very old fashioned buckle, but it's timeless in style. There are no visible notches while its on your waist (at least that's your choice). The belt strap and buckle hold eachother together and the adjustment is made on the inside before putting it on. There is the option to turn the belt 180 degrees and make the adjustable side visible, with the fixed side inside.

This design is customizable, with choice of nickel plated or polished brass buckle, and choice of strap. I plan to make a video and graphic to explain how to put it together, it's slightly mind bending the first time you do it. Anyway, here is the belt!

Reintroducing The Cantaloupe Belt, now featuring a steel heel bar buckle and dual snaps for a lower profile, and to keep the keeper ring straight all the time. The notches are an 1/8 inch smaller for the thinner, contoured prong. Of course, it's named for the color and texture of the strap made from industrial strength cotton embedded with nitrile rubber.

Reintroducing The Classic Held Vegan Belt, now customized by strap of choice. Until now, The Classic was the black strap cut to 1.5 inches with a roller buckle and keeper ring. Now, the black strap is called La Brea and The Classic is a design defined largely by the buckle. So next time I put in a hardware order, I’ll be introducing La Brea with a unique design.

This week, I am sharing The Cantaloupe (orange) and The Auroch (brown) belts, previously they were just Classics with dual snaps. I selected buckles that I believe pair well with those straps, and revised the specifications to accommodate those buckles. The grey (Mammoth) underwent this treatment a while ago, but even so, it took time to realize that it needed specific punches to make the best product. Now, I have enough tools to make a great variety of designs tailored to different buckles.

Several new designs are already published to the homepage, and the Etsy is also getting updated. Some new stuff will go up on the DePop as well. A lot of developments quietly worked on for several months are coming together, it’s just coming at the pace that one owner-operator can handle. Stay tuned.

p.s. The Mammoth in this photo has dual snaps because it’s an old photo. I have never photographed the Mammoth classic and that’s on the to do list. But if you order it, you’ll get one snap. Probably nobody will notice that but I have to make the disclaimer.

Reintroducing the Auroch Belt, now featuring a lifetime solid brass buckle notching down the most rugged strap in the catalog. It’s a 5-ply cotton sheet embedded with nitrile rubber, engineered to repel oil and water. It is excellent for harsh work, outdoor, and tactical conditions, without compromising style.

This belt is entirely built with USA-made components.
