On the the high line walk I saw the Diane von Furstenberg boutique on the street level so after lunch I explored and walked in. My first sight was HER! On the white glass stairways. The upper floors are offices and she was talking to her staff. That was exciting to see. The first floor is retail and everything was beautifully displayed and gorgeous.

So fun to look at the furnishings and designs on the first couple of floors and then proceed to the Rooftop restaurant and have a delicious lunch. I loved all the chandeliers!

Monday Morning Drama: NY Fashion Week

Designers from around the world showcasing their collections to buyers, journalists, photographers, and general public.

We had the opportunity to see a show, not knowing the designers that were booked in the slot we reserved. Lots of embellishments including labor intensive beadwork, vibrant colors, and ethnic flair. Loud rhythmic music, bright lights and the nostalgic catwalk all defined a runway experience!

So happy visiting my friend, Melissa in NY! Will be in Manhattan tomorrow and super excited to attend NY Fashion Week...
